HITEC's requirements for fulfilling the program are marked in green in the table. Optional activities are shown in blue. At your institutes, you will also attend specific seminars, courses, international conferences etc.
All courses can be booked online via the Doctoral Management IT System DokMS.
In addition to the HITEC Curriculum courses, you can book optional courses offered by the Jülich Center for Doctoral Researchers and Supervisors JuDocS. You may register for two of the JuDocS’s optional courses if your supervisor agrees.
Please note that for most of the compulsory courses, equivalent courses attended elsewhere will be accepted, please contact the HITEC office and submit a certificate of attendance.
Doctoral researchers who successfully complete the HITEC program are awarded a HITEC certificate, which not only provides a record of the program, but also lists all the skills and achievements gained during their doctoral studies, complementing the doctoral degree awarded by their university.
