Scientific Presentation
A good presentation begins with good preparation. In the course Scientific Presentation, you work on exercises that help you understand techniques in developing the best presentation by answering questions like: Who will be present? Where will I give my talk? How can I most effectively present my research material? What determines success? Beyond that, you learn how body language can help and strengthen your presentations, both in stressing your arguments and in authentically revealing your personality.
During the workshop, all participants give their presentation in front of their fellows. Each presentation is followed by a discussion slot and an intense 360-degree feedback given by fellow participants and the trainer. In doing so, you learn: What is important for the speaker to keep in mind? How to tackle difficult questions and situations professionally? Knowing how to master this you feel more comfortable and confident.
In the two days of seminar work, you develop a solid foundation of effective strategies so that you can systematically prepare talks, improve your presentation skills, and increase your own self-perception. Thus, you will recognize your strengths and know how you can correct and improve critical aspects of your presentations.
