The HITEC Orientation Week is an introductory week during the initial phase of the doctorate. The research of all HITEC member institutes at Forschungszentrum Jülich is presented in talks and laboratory visits. Doctoral researchers are introduced to the HITEC Graduate School and can discuss their questions. The orientation week also includes a presentation of the tools and services offered by the Central Library of Forschungszentrum Jülich.

Most important, doctoral researchers will get to know many of their colleagues and start building their network.
